McIntosh County Court Docket Searches
Begin with the court, not the search box. McIntosh County runs Superior, State, Juvenile, Probate, and Magistrate courts. Darien Municipal Court sits alongside them. No single public search covers them all. Georgia Courts E-Access lists McIntosh State and Superior and points users toward participating providers. For deeper case and hearing details, re:SearchGA serves as Tyler's public-access layer. An account is required. What you can see also depends on court integration, your role, and case type.
- Read the court, case number, party name, and date from the official paper.
- Open E-Access, select the participating McIntosh court, and follow the provider route.
- In re:SearchGA, choose Cases or Hearings and use the exact number when possible.
- Read the case header, events, settings, disposition, and document indicators in context.
- Call or visit the proper clerk for an absent file, current date, or certified copy.
You can search by party, attorney, or judge in the McIntosh County court docket system. Wildcards work in both the first and last name fields, and the behavior is documented. Results sort three ways: newest filing date, oldest filing date, or case number. One caution applies. A login wall or a 403 error means the screen blocked you. It does not mean the court record is missing.
Search re:SearchGA in McIntosh
re:SearchGA splits its lookups into Cases and Hearings. Click a case description and the case detail view opens. Pick a hearing type instead, and it can open hearing detail. For McIntosh County cases, the provider guide covers parties, attorneys, judicial officers, filings, documents, and hearings, plus actions like export, print, share, save, alert, and file-into. Which controls you see depends on your account and access role.
| Search control | Use | McIntosh fallback |
|---|---|---|
| Cases | Find a docket by name or number | Clerk at 912-437-6641 |
| Hearings | Open indexed hearing detail | Confirm the setting with the clerk |
| Advanced | Narrow a broad result set | Remove filters if no match appears |
| Sort | Order by filing date or case number | Compare the source notice |
For a McIntosh County docket search, nothing beats an exact case number. eFileGA support shows the format: a four-digit year, then CV or CR, then a zero-padded number. An example is 2019-CV-012345. Punctuation can differ by court, so type the case number exactly as it appears on the source document first.
Court Dockets: What They Show
A McIntosh County court docket works as an index. It is also a timeline. It is not always the full document file behind the case. Georgia Uniform Superior Court Rule 39 lays out the clerk's civil and criminal docket fields. The public provider may show only a slice of that official structure. So read the fields together. No single status label tells the whole story of a case.
| Case Number | The unique action number, court, year, and type clues. |
|---|---|
| Parties | Names and roles used to identify the correct public case. |
| Filings | Pleadings, motions, orders, and dates entered by the clerk. |
| Hearings | Scheduled events, types, dates, and available setting detail. |
| Court and Judge | The court and assigned judicial officer shown in the record. |
| Disposition | The outcome of a claim or count, including judgment, plea, dismissal, or transfer. |
| Cross-reference | A pointer to minutes, final record, transcript, appeal, or stored file. |
Click a document link and you may get the filing for free, behind a fee, restricted, redacted, or just its metadata. Either way, the docket entry itself proves the event was recorded, even when the full filing never shows.
Rule 39 Maps McIntosh Dockets
Rule 39.2 lays out the civil side: cause, counsel, parties, filing costs, service, pleadings, hearings, the judge, trial status, outcome, appeal, and storage references. Criminal entries get their own list under Rule 39.3. There you look for indictment or accusation, counts, plea, negotiated status, verdict, sentence, restitution, warrant returns, transcript, and remittitur.
- Docket
- The chronological and index record maintained by the clerk.
- Setting
- A scheduled date and time for a court event.
- Disposition
- The recorded result of a claim, case, or criminal count.
- Remittitur
- The appellate mandate filed after review.
- Protected identifier
- Information separated or redacted under Georgia access rules.
Rule 39 is a field map, not a promise that every item appears online. A short McIntosh County docket row may be all you see. The full detail can sit in the minutes, the final record, or a paper file the clerk holds.
McIntosh County Courts and Their Dockets
Georgia splits its courts by case type. So the McIntosh County court docket you need depends on where the case landed. Superior Court holds broad trial authority. State Court, the limited-jurisdiction courts, and Darien Municipal Court each keep their own dockets. Titles can mislead you here. Cheryl “Mandy” Harrison's Superior Court clerk office also manages State and Juvenile records.
| Court | Docket covers | Public route |
|---|---|---|
| Superior Court | Felonies, divorce, broad civil cases, lower-court appeals | re:SearchGA and Superior clerk |
| State Court | Misdemeanors, traffic, preliminary criminal work, civil matters | re:SearchGA, clerk, and traffic payment portal |
| Juvenile Court | Delinquency, deprivation, and youth matters | Juvenile clerk with confidentiality limits |
| Probate Court | Estates, guardianships, and probate matters | Probate office |
| Magistrate Court | Warrants and civil claims up to $15,000 | Probate/Magistrate office |
| Darien Municipal | City traffic and ordinance matters | Municipal clerk |
One Coastal County, Several Counters
McIntosh County sits where coastal marsh meets barrier-island country. Darien holds the county seat. Townsend, Crescent, Eulonia, Jones, and Valona are unincorporated communities scattered along the same stretch. I-95 cuts straight through it all. That spread of places means one phone call can save a long drive, since an online provider may not display the file you need. Before heading out, confirm which counter holds the court record. The official McIntosh government directory lists the county contacts you would call.

For Superior, State, and Juvenile questions, dial 912-437-6641. Probate and Magistrate share an older line, 912-437-4888, so confirm it before you travel. Darien Municipal Court answers at 912-437-6644. An open-records request aimed at county administration goes through the County Attorney, not the clerk's docket counter.
Court Dates and Settings in McIntosh County
McIntosh County sits in the Atlantic Judicial Circuit, which serves six counties. In August 2026 the circuit's own page said no calendar was available. It told anyone asking about a date or time to contact the clerk of the county where the case sits. Guessing at a weekly Superior schedule would mislead people. So would recycling a stale calendar entry.
For a Superior or State case docket, pull the newest re:SearchGA event first. Then call the clerk to confirm. Probate, Magistrate, Juvenile, and Darien Municipal court dates run through their own offices. A hearing is only a scheduled event. A plea, a trial, and a ruling are separate docket entries, and each means something different. A continuance or reset shifts a setting. The earlier entry can linger in the case history. The McIntosh County court schedule walks through each way to confirm a date.
Why McIntosh Has No Calendar
Current access note: The Atlantic Circuit says no calendar is available and sends McIntosh date questions to the county clerk.
The gap does not mean the courts hold no settings. It means no current public circuit calendar page stands as the final source. re:SearchGA may index hearing data. Coverage still depends on provider integration and your access level. In McIntosh County, the clerk controls local confirmation. The county home page covers official local services rather than court dates. Its landing page appears below.

Keep your notice, case number, and any later orders in one place. If two dates clash, call the court named on the document and ask which hearing controls before you show up.
Docket Access Under Georgia Law
Georgia court rules presume public access. But the law and court orders set limits. Protected identifiers, juvenile matters, adoption records, and sealed or access-limited files all get different handling. So a docket search may return less than you expect. The public view can skip a case entirely. It may show only limited metadata, hide one document, display a restricted notice, or hand you a redacted copy instead.
Key rules:
O.C.G.A. § 50-18-70 states Georgia's public-access policy for public records, subject to lawful limits.
Uniform Superior Court Rule 21 begins from public court records and governs orders that limit access.
Uniform Superior Court Rule 21.6 requires protected identifiers to be redacted or separated.
Uniform Superior Court Rule 39 defines the civil and criminal docket fields maintained by the clerk.
An Open Records Act request will not pry open a sealed file or a juvenile case shielded by Georgia confidentiality rules. The clerk is where a McIntosh County court file starts. For county administrative records, send your request through the County Attorney's channel instead.
Free McIntosh Index Versus Image
Know what you are actually getting before you pay anything. A free index entry, a document image, and a certified copy are three different products in McIntosh County. The free route runs through re:SearchGA. It gives an index and a detail view of a case. Pulling an actual filed image may require an account or a purchase. A certified copy is different again. It moves through a clerk or eCertification workflow and carries official authentication.
The official GSCCCA McIntosh clerk profile names the clerk. It lists managed courts and posts the address, hours, and traffic links.

McIntosh State Court appears on the current eCertification participation list; Superior Court is not on that list. The county posts no certified-copy fee, payment method, ID rule, or turnaround time. Call the clerk before you mail any request.
How the Clerk Keeps Docket Records
Cheryl “Mandy” Harrison has been the elected Clerk of Superior Court since 2021. One office under her manages the records of Superior, State, and Juvenile Court. That three-court arrangement is a core McIntosh fact. Probate and Magistrate files stay with the Probate Judge and Chief Magistrate office. Darien Municipal Court keeps its own city docket.

Be precise when you contact the clerk. Asking to inspect a docket is not the same as naming a filed document, a plain copy, or a certified copy. The office publishes fax 912-437-6673 as contact information, though it makes no promise that faxed copy requests are accepted.
Mandy Harrison's Three-Court Office
A May 2025 GSCCCA feature highlights Harrison's focus on customer service. It also covers her push for modernization. It does not announce any portal migration. Nor does it promise that every historic file is digitized. That gap matters. Georgia's e-file matrix lists several filing providers, while public search remains a separate service altogether.
The official GSCCCA clerk feature tells that story in the clerk's own words.

Filing and document services run through eFileGA, PeachCourt, and GreenFiling/InfoTrack. re:SearchGA sits on top as the public search layer. For a certified copy, an older record, or anything missing from a provider, the clerk is still the authoritative source.
McIntosh Gray-Tabby Courthouse Route
The clerk profile gives unusually specific directions. From I-95, take Exit 49 and travel east on Georgia 251. Georgia 251 ends at U.S. 17. Turn south there and go about 1.1 miles. The courthouse is a gray-tabby, two-story building on the left. That official landmark beats any guessed building description.
The county publishes no parking map. It posts no transit route, terminal location, floor map, or courthouse security checklist either. Call ahead about an older file, restricted status, or a document image. Also call about a language need or an accommodation. Georgia Superior Court Rule 22 governs recording devices, phones, computers, security, and courtroom decorum. Always ask before recording or carrying equipment into a courtroom or clerk area.
McIntosh Dockets Follow Georgia Courts
Georgia's trial-court structure gives Superior Court broad jurisdiction while State, Juvenile, Probate, Magistrate, and municipal courts handle narrower work. The Georgia Courts navigation resource lays out those levels statewide.
Georgia's official court hierarchy shows where McIntosh County's courts sit within that framework.

Federal cases sit outside that state hierarchy. McIntosh federal matters route to the Southern District of Georgia's Brunswick Division through PACER or CM/ECF. So keep the two worlds separate. A federal docket does not live with the McIntosh state clerk, and a state case never becomes federal just because Brunswick is close.
City-by-City Court Dockets in McIntosh County
Darien is the only incorporated city in McIntosh County, per the official 2020 Census and local-government material. Its 2020 population was 1,460. Townsend, Crescent, Eulonia, Jones, and Valona are communities rather than cities, so no municipal docket pages exist for them.
Darien Court Records
Population 1,460 · Municipal traffic and ordinance records begin with the Darien Municipal Court clerk.
Check which court the citation names before you act. A Darien Municipal Court citation means the city court at 912-437-6644. It also means its own payment route. A McIntosh State Court citation means the county clerk and the FivePoint route. The sheriff has provided Darien law-enforcement services under an intergovernmental agreement since July 2022. That arrangement still does not merge the municipal and county court dockets.
What McIntosh Judicial Spending Measures
McIntosh County financial reports offer operating context, not case counts. Actual judicial spending climbed from $1,217,910 in fiscal year 2021. It reached $1,572,617 in fiscal year 2024. The expense lines covered Superior, State, and Probate or Magistrate. State Court was the largest of those three lines every year. Remember what these numbers are. They describe county expenditures only. They cannot tell you how many McIntosh County court docket entries were pending. They say nothing about how long a case ran. Nor do they give any person's result.
Fines and forfeitures count as county revenue, not as traffic convictions. Georgia DDS publishes monthly reports. They list 744 McIntosh State Court submissions in July 2025 and 838 in May 2026. Those are monthly submissions to DDS. They are not pending cases or unique people. The figures do sketch the workload behind a layered clerk and provider system. Use them for that alone. Never infer the status of a particular McIntosh County court docket from them. For status, go to the case record and the clerk.
Map and Directions to the McIntosh County Courthouse
Superior, State, and Juvenile Court records are kept by the Clerk of Superior Court at the McIntosh County Courthouse, 310 North Way in Darien, a gray-tabby, two-story building. The clerk's own directions are unusually specific: from I-95, take Exit 49, travel east on Georgia 251 to the dead end at U.S. 17, turn south, and go about 1.1 miles to the building on the left.
